What? We have snow and the trails aren’t open? Why?

The trails don’t open in McHenry County until December 10th due to hunting. It is not safe to be in the same fields and woods when people are hunting. Just makes sense.

The 11th Annual Pole Screwing Party will be this Saturday, 9/14, at the Sled Shed on Murray Road. Starts at 5 pm. We will work on the trail markers, eat some food, and have a nice bonfire (weather permitting). All are welcome!
